A Mālā or a Japamala is a string of prayer beads used to count mantras, prayers, or intentions.

Mālās can be used to count breaths to remain present and in your body, right now.

Ray has been creating Mālās for over a decade. Residing in Reno, NV, she is a full time carer for her husband on his end of life journey. Ray uses art as mediation + release through the dark + unknown waters of grief. We'll gather on Instagram Live at 1:08 pm pst and begin our mantra Mālā meditation at 1:11 pm. Make a cup of tea and have your own Mālā ready for our group meditation.
